MCC records second straight shutout

UTICA, NY - The top-ranked MCC ice hockey team shut out its second straight opponent, defeating Mohawk Valley CC 10-0 Wednesday.

Rasmus Nilsson (Kungsbacka, Sweden/Elof Lindalvs) was in goal this time around, stopping 13 shots.  The Tribunes are 13-1 on the season.

Bobby Thomaris (Elmira, NY/Elmira Notre Dame) led the charge with two goals, while Matt Johnston (Calgary, AB/Bishop O' Brien) added a goal and three assists.

TJ Reilley (Rome, NY/Rome Free) and Mike Boyd (Vancouver, BC/Sullivan Heights) had a goal and two assists apiece, and Willy Manchester (Long Beach, NY/Long Beach) and Zach Lewis (Syracuse, NY/West Genesee) had one goal and one assist each.

Dan Going (Wilton, NY/Saratoga Springs), Zach McDonald (Billings, MT/Skyview), and Jordan Foster (Port Hope, ON/Port Hope) all scored once.
