Welcome ...

... to Damon City Campus, the downtown campus of Monroe Community College. The campus is housed in the Sibley Building, conveniently located within the Rochester “Center City” hub. In addition to providing excellent educational opportunities for area students, the campus also offers an array of services for community-based organizations, local businesses and government agencies. With an urban presence, Damon City Campus effectively achieves key elements of MCC’s mission to provide access, economic development, partnership building, and lifelong learning as well as the primary goal to prepare students for success in the classroom and beyond our doors.

MCC’s Damon City Campus utilizes cutting-edge educational technology to provide a stimulating environment for learning, including a new Center for Active Learning that employs up-to-the minute advances in teaching. In addition to the library and learning centers, the college offers multiple options to enhance student success such as advisement, career exploration, mentoring, and personal support services.  Course options include credit and non-credit offerings, basic skills, ESOL, diplomas, certificates and associate degrees. DCC is home to the Departments of Education, Law & Criminal Justice, and Human Services. Several pre-collegiate programs are on site including STEP (Science and Technology Entry Program), Liberty Partnerships Program and Upward Bound.
