Welcome to DCC Orientation/Advisement/Registration

Peer Counselors

The campus is located in the heart of downtown Rochester, on the fourth and fifth floors of the historic Sibley Building. The campus is a unique multi-cultural urban learning environment. The Damon City Campus offers an innovative learning environment that is personal, supportive, and focused on making your educational experience a successful one. MCC’s Damon City Campus is the place to begin.

New Student Orientation will help you and your guest.

The Student Program highlights what the Student should expect in their first semester. Students will meet with Advisors and Academic Department Staff to register for their classes. Peer Leaders will assist in the Advisement and Registration process. Students will also have the opportunity to get a tour of the campus and receive their school photo ID.

Guests (parents, spouses, friends) of entering MCC students are ENCOURAGED to attend the Guest orientation program held on the same day as the student's orientation. The Guest Program highlights a specialized session for guest to assist in answering questions about books, meal plans, parking, student support services, and advice on how to be supportive of their new student.
